In Two Over One Game Force System the opening
in 1/1
is
made with 5+ cards in a range of 12-21 hcp (high cards points).
Include in this opening we have some popular conventions integraded:
1- Jacoby 2nt as game force (GF) response for no
passed hand;
2- Bergen raises responses showing support with 4+ cards
- non passed hand;
3- RKB (0314/1430), Josephine and exclusion RKB asking
for keycards; Note: Roman Keycard Blackwood = RKB using Kantar's notation
4- Splinters showing 4+ cards support with singleton/void in
the bidded suit;
Rule#1: INVERTED NT - is a strategic way to avoid the difficult in the
rebid by Opener with hands 4522
after 1
opening. This convention swiches the response of 1nt (5-11 hcp) for one spades,
Now 1 nt shows 5+
cards
and 1
shows up to 4 cards spades (may have 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 cards spades) and
it is the traditional response of 1nt limited at 11 hcp.
This is called inverted nt and resolve the same problem that
Flannery system try to eliminate in rebid 1
with only 5 cards or rebid 2
